9th Book Exhibition and Sale
Maharana Mewar Historical Publications Trust, Udaipur organised its 9th Book Exhibition and Sale at Sabha Shiromani Ka Darikhana, Mardana Mahal, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur from 1st to 5th July 2014. Some of the books displayed were on History of Rajasthan, Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap, Bhaktimati Meera along with books related to Art, Culture, Hindi Literature and Sports.

Dr. Rachna Khare, Team Leader along with Mr. Sandeep Sankat, Mr. Sushil Solanki, Mr. Sanmarga Mitra, Mrs. Parama Mitra, Mrs. Poonam Khan and Ms. Shweta Vardia from SPA, Bhopal visited Udaipur from 28th June to 3rd July to study the site of The City Palace Museum, Udaipur in coordination with the team members of MMCF Projects. The team conducted site surveys, research, documentation and investigations at the site.

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF), Udaipur is in association with School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal to develop Universal Access and Interpretation Centre at The City Palace Museum, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation , Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. This is planned on the basis of thorough research, field investigations, access audit and user surveys on site.
The MMCF, Udaipur aims to contribute to a large-scale systematic change with a focus on establishing a centre of excellence at Udaipur. This institutional affiliation with SPA, Bhopal proposes to utilise the City Palace Museum of Udaipur as an educational resource for designing and implementing universal access for this site. It will be intended as a model with possible replications and adaptations for other heritage sites.

Restoration of Government Girls' Senior Secondary School building at Jagdish Chowk, Udaipur
Government Girls' Senior Secondary School (formerly known as HH The Maharana Girls High School), Jagdish Chowk, Udaipur had requested Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF), Udaipur to restore the old building of school which was established by Maharana Shambhu Singh (r. 1861 - 1874) in 1864. Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur, Chairman and Managing Trustee, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur has approved the restoration project of school building on request of school authorities.
