Attending the 'Kahaani Festival'
Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar attended the event organised by Teamwork Arts at Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir called the 'Kahaani Festival' which concluded with the best of storytelling sessions and Hip-hop dance performances.
The two day programme steered the young minds toward art forms including theatre, dance, cartoon making, clay modelling, wall paint, magic show, puppet show, drawing, music and martial arts along with storytelling.
The final day began with the unique story of 'zero' through clown theater show by Ashwat Bhatt. Padma Shree Dadi Padmaji's Ishara Puppet Theater Trust presented 'Anokhe Vastra' show which captivated the hearts of all present at the venue.
Ashish Ghosh's Anant Group told the importance of holidays through their act 'Chutti' while Rahul Kharbanda's magic show amazed the students. Cartoonist Ajit Narayan taught cartoon making and storytellers Imran Khan, Sanjay, Sandeep, Punita and Aditya Roy made stories alive on the stage.
The local sculptor Nathulal Solanki and group's Nagada workshop acquainted the kids with folk music. The two day programme saw more than 5000 kids from across 25 schools of Udaipur relive the old times of storytelling. This event aimed to build creativity among the kids and link them with the art of knitting stories.
The kids through 'Kahaani Festival' were taken back to the times of when they used to listen fables and stories from their grandparents.
