Unveiling 'Vision 2021'
Accepting an invitation from Ms. Rachna Sharma, CEO and Founder, Rachna Sharma Foundation, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar attended the unveiling ceremony of event 'Vision 2021 – One million youth for peace', an initiative inspiring the next generation of leaders to be the voice of change: change in the way our society learns, loves and lives. Peace education is the process of acquiring knowledge and skills that foster values and behaviour to live in harmony with oneself, with others and with nature.
The event was attended by Mr. Suhel Seth, Ms. Kalyani Chawla, Ms. Pratibha Prahlad, Mr. Amitabh Kant, Mr. Mayyur Girotra, Ms. Blanca Peralta, Mr. Sanjay Sharma, Mr. Amaan Ali, Mr. Olav Ofstad, Mrs. Smriti Jain, Mr. Yash Gupta and Ambassador Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos.

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar attended the “Peace For Economy Conference” at ITC Windsor, Bangalore. His Holiness Dalai Lama exchanged dialogue with the delegates from across 12 nations on the concept of global peace. He also shared the essence of contribution to the society and making the environment more peaceful. The inaugural session of the Peace for Economy Conference saw a cheerful crowd engaging in a quality dialogue with HH Dalai Lama illuminating souls by speaking about world peace and the whole aspect of how spirituality and faith play an integral role. Also present at the dias for the inaugural session were Mr. Francois Gautier, Consul General of France; Mr. Asif Iqbal, Executive Director of Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce; HE Sabit Subasic, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Republic of India; Dr. S Krishna Kumar, Chairman, AACC & former Defence Minister, Government of India; Helene Tremblay, Author & Speaker and HRH Princess Fay Jahan Ara, UN Goodwill Ambassador. Peace for Business Summit was organised by the Asia Arab Chamber.
On the same evening, Mr. Mewar was invited to the ashram of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar where he had a discussion with the spiritual leader for half an hour.
The two discussed possibilities of synergies to work for socially and economically backward sections of society and work for world peace. Mr. Mewar also invited Sri Sri to grace Udaipur. |
