Since 2004, SVSN has aimed to serve the underprivileged by economic
empowerment of the rural population through innovative
training in agriculture and animal husbandry; infrastructure
improvement of schools; healthcare delivery and
awareness training and social awareness against orthodox
practices such as child marriage, dowry, etc. While in urban
areas SVSN supports financially and health care for needy
widows. SVSN has undertaken an endeavour to improve the
quality of life of destitute widow residing in Udaipur and
neighbouring areas of Udaipur with an objective to provide
free monthly medical check-up by doctors, distribution of
medicines for the whole month and if necessary refer them
to other specialties for surgeries like cataract, dental care; to
provide monthly pension to widow so that they can fulfil
their very basic needs; to provide scholarship stationeries
and uniforms to children of young widows so that they can
continue their education and to provide skill development
training to young capable widows so that they can earn their
livelihood.
MMCF is supporting the project for the year 2018-19 with
an objective to promote distribution of clothing, medical
relief, etc. and to help institution who are working for the
benefit of widows. SVSN organizes a medical camp in
Udaipur on every last Sunday of the month with free
medical services which includes eye, sugar and blood
pressure check-ups, surgeries and free distribution of full
course of medicines for the month for these widows.
In this month of April, SVSN organized a free medical health
Check-up camp at Theosophical Society, Udaipur on 29th
April 2018. In this camp Dr. Arun Bordia and Dr. J.P. Simlot
examined the patients. Blood sugar was done by Mr. S.M.
Porwal. During the camp free medicines and pension were
given to all the widows. Dr. Mayank Gupta, Deputy
Secretary, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation,
Udaipur visited the camp and had discussion with the Board
Members of Swami Vivekanand Sarvajanik Nyas, Udaipur
for further development in the project.

Medical Assistance
Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided
medical assistance to Ms. Nimita Soni, Udaipur to promote
and encourage excellence in various walks of life.
Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has also
provided medical assistance to Mr. Ram Gopal Verma,
Nagarchi, Udaipur against the medical relief and aims to
help the needy and deserving irrespective of their caste,
creed, religion and sex.
