Ahar Udaipur Heritage Walk

Ahar Udaipur Heritage Walk was an initiative taken forward by Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur with the support from Udaipur Municipal Corporation. MMCF in its Outreach Programmes has encouraged many such events. As per the ongoing initiatives the 'Ahar' Udaipur Heritage Walk was organised on 24th June 2018. MMCF's goal is to be a world leader in heritage conservation and community inclusion. The Foundation often has to generate its own benchmarks for this goal. MMCF is keen to share its best-practice and conservation experience that has an ambitious knowledge transfer initiative in addition to its implementable conservation programme. The walk was attended by 100 people.

Maharana Pratap Jayanti 2018

The 478th birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap was celebrated at The City Palace Museum, Udaipur under the aegis of Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation on 16th June 2018. The Jayanti was celebrated according to the Hindu calendar which is dated on Jyestha Shukla Tritya.

On this occasion panels exhibiting the life and the history of Maharana Pratap were displayed at various places including Lakshmi Chowk, The Zenana Mahal, The City Palace, Udaipur; Veer Bhawan, Moti Magri, Udaipur; Astabal, Kumbhalgarh Fort, Rajsamand; Kumbha Bhawan, Chittorgarh and Vijay Smarak, Diwer, Rajsamand from 1st June to 30th June 2018.

On the 16th June 2018, MMCF paid tribute to the valorous legend Maharana Pratap of Mewar through story telling session titled 'Asmita' and 'Pratap Virudawali' and the Mewar folk music session which was a reflection of the immense life of Maharana Pratap presented by Martand Foundation, Udaipur and Mukesh Kundan Group respectively.
