Scholarships and Grants

Scholarships are awarded to students at every level of education, from primary school to postgraduate research scholars. In many cases, had it not been for the intervention of the trust, the individual students' academic career would have come to a halt. Both men and women applicants are treated fairly and without bias. The numbers can range from a single scholarship granted to one student to cover their entire course of graduate studies or, to a number of students to help subsidies school/college fees. The trust has also sponsored and subsidized the presentation of research papers at symposia both in India, and across the globe.

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided scholarships to Mr. Jyotiraj Singh, Sagwara, Dungarpur to continue his studies in class VI from Spring Dales Senior Secondary School for 2018-2019.

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Ranawat, Udaipur to continue his studies in Bachelors in Arts (B.A.).

Mr. Piyush Talesara, Udaipur to continue his Engineering in Food Technology from the College of Dairy and Food Science Technology, MPUAT, Udaipur for 2018-2019.

Financial Assistance

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistances to Mr. Prashant Mallick, Dhrupad Vocalist, Secretary, Pandit Vidur Mallick Dhrupad Academy, New Delhi to purchase musical instruments for the Pandit Vidur Mallick Dhrupad Academy, Allahabad to encourage the spirit of artists.

Dr. Gajanand Mittal, Department of Microbiology, RNT Medical College, Udaipur for paper presentation in The 11th Healthcare Infection Society International Conference - 2018, ACC, Liverpool, UK which is going to be held from 26th - 28th November 2018.

Mr. Madhav Darak, Kumbalgarh, Rajsamand for his book titled - 'Shiv Darshan' based on the history of Mewar.

Supporting Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal, Udaipur

Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal is an institution based in Udaipur, Rajasthan engaged in studying and developing folk art, culture, songs and festivals of Rajasthan and to popularise and propagate folk arts, folk dances and folk literature. It was set up in 1952. The institution has a museum that exhibits collection of folk articles like rural-dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. The institute has a puppet unit that trains children, teachers and other artists in the art of puppetry, as this is a very powerful non-conventional educative medium. MMCF is supporting the institution to develop and sustain tangible and intangible heritage of Mewar in India.

Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal, Udaipur

Supporting Saksham Project of Yuva Pahal, Pali, Rajasthan

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistance to support the project titled Project Saksham for the skill training program for girls at Rohat, Pali, Rajasthan for the year 2018-19. Yuva Pahal is an emerging NGO of Rajasthan engaged in the social development and women empowerment through integrated family welfare and livelihood projects. Since its inception from year 2005, Yuva Pahal has trained 5900 youth and women from rural and urban area through its various skill training programs in various districts across Rajasthan. Yuva Pahal believes in building livelihoods through microenterprises for girls and women which is one of the remarkable steps for developing sustainability, improving household income and creating jobs.
