Supporting musical concert 'Smritiyaan'

On September 23, 2018 a musical concert "Smritiyaan" was organized by The Pandit Chatur Lal Memorial Society and Hindustan Zinc Limited at Ashoka Green, Shobhagpura, Udaipur. It was a musical tribute to the Tabla maestro Pandit Chatur Lal. Legendary Sarod Mastro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan presented an outstanding performance on Sarod. He was supported by Shri Fateh Singh Gangani on Pakhawaj and Shri Pranshu Chatur Lal on Tabla. The event was supported by Eternal Mewar, RSMM, Rajasthan Tourism and West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur. Dainik Bhaskar was the print partner and Outdoor and social media partner was 18 Colours Production House.

Developments in Maharana Mewar Special Library

Maharana Mewar Special Library (MMSL) is a world-class special library. By the end of this month MMSL has a collection of more than 34659 books of different varieties. Library has special collection of books on Literature, Religion, History, Arts, Zoology, Sports and General Geography about different part of India and globe and rare collection of books on Mewar dynasty.

11 new books were received in this month and all the books were processed in Accession Register. Classification of the books was done by Dewey decimal classification 19th Rev. Edition, Cataloguing (AACR II) and Bibliography; details uploaded in Library housekeeping software. Libsys and Eternal Mewar web site http://eternalmewar.in/mmsl. Stamping, tagging and scanning was also performed all these books.
