International Photography exhibition "The Visitors" by artist Ms. Meropi Mitrou

MMCF has supported Photography exhibition titled "The Visitors" by Ms. Meropi Mitrou, Udaipur. The exhibition was scheduled from 28th - 30th November 2018 at Hathi Baithak, Manek Chowk, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur where 35 photographs were exhibited. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trusty MMCF had inaugurated the exhibition. Photographer, Meropi Mitrou was born in Greece in 1978.

At an early age she had an eye for photography without any prior schooling, having already completed several shootings on her own. As a freelance photographer she has traveled all across Asia to Laos, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal and Malaysia where she finds her inspiration and presently she lives and works in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India where she continues to create art through her own life.

This project "The Visitors" began as a way for her to investigate and discover what drives a person to leave their home land and live somewhere else during the time she decided to move to India and leave her homeland, Greece. Within The Visitors there is a tangible sense of vulnerability that both photographer and subject meet each other.
