Conclusion of the Maharana Kumbha exhibition

The one month long Maharana Kumbha exhibition concluded on 15th February 2019. The exhibition was organised by Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation to mark the 602nd birth anniversary of Maharana Kumbha (r 1433 - 1468 CE). The exhibition were put on for public viewing in the month of January 2019 at different locations, The City Palace, Udaipur; Veer Bhawan, Moti Magri, Udaipur; Shree Suryanarayan Temple, Ranakpur; Kumbha Bhawan, Chittorgarh Fort, Chittorgarh and Astabal at Kumbhalgarh Fort.The significance of exhibiting these at these locations is of greater importance in terms the places are either constructed during the reign or which had a vital role in his life. The aim of this exhibition is to create awareness about the life and achievements of Maharana Kumbha.

Visit of HIS Serene Highness Prince Albert ll of Monaco

HIS Serene Highness Prince Albert ll of Monaco and guests visited The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. The guests were greeted by Dr. Neeraja Poddar, Curator, The City Palace Museum, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation and were taken for a tour of the Mardana Mahal and Zenana Mahal on 06 February 2019.

Visit of members from Grand Heritage Drive 2019

Members of Grand Heritage Drive 2019 led by Dr. Ravi Prakash, Managing Director, Rushe Group, Bangalore visited the City Palace, Udaipur. The group visited the Mardana Mahal and Zenana Mahal. Later on they visited The Vintage and Classic Car Collection at The Garden Hotel, Udaipur on 19th February 2019.
