Scholarships, Grants, Donations and Financial Assistance

'Daan' has been at the root act of custodianship in Mewar remains the guiding essence of the Foundation. It means contribution which is explained in great detail in our ancient scriptures and is unconditional. Today, one of the Foundation's biggest outlaying expenditure is charity being done through its direct donations to motives such as, scholarships supports, pension schemes, endowments and medical-aids, thus fulfilling directly many of the objectives. Scholarships are awarded to students at every level of education, from primary school to postgraduate research scholars. Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided donation in favour of an Exhibition of old vintage b/w photographs to be held at Nehru Centre Art Gallery from 2nd April 2019 - 8th April 2019, Worli - Mumbai, titled as 'Syed Photographer Family Palanpur (Since 1904).

Mr. Ankit Jain Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided Scholarship to Mr. Ankit Jain to attend the International start up enrichment tour from 22nd to 29th June 2019. The Programme is basically an entrepreneurship training tour - The Innovfest Unbound at Singapore. Mr. Jain is pursuing second year B.Tech from CTAE, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur. He acquired 1st position in the Eureka competition conducted by the IIT Bombay. Mr. Ankit has also been awarded by the Maharana Raj Singh Award 2019 by the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation.

MMCF supported Pandit Vidur Mallick Sangeet Samaroh organised by Pandit Vidur Mallick Dhrupad Academy, Allahabad on 29th March - 30th March 2019. The academy is established in fond memory of Dhrupad Legend Pandit Vidur Mallick.

Charitable Dispensary and Medical Aid

Medical Aid is an important activity of the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation. Citizens of the region can apply to it for medical benefits and assistance. The Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation runs a charitable dispensary, which operates all year round. It aims to provide free medical advice and medicines to the needy that are unable to pay for medical treatment. The Staff's yearly medical checkups are also organized by the Foundation.

A total number of 737 patients were treated in the month of March 2019.
