Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), multispectral imaging etc. that are employed in the examination of art objects; enabling accurate documentation and further, conservation or treatment of the art objects concerned.

In Northern Ireland, Ms. Mukherjee visited the famous Hillsborough Castle, built in c. 1788; both the historic structure and its collection have recently been conserved by Historic Royal Palaces for which they have built a conservation laboratory and storage within the palace premises.

As a part of the grant, she attended the ICON's Triennial Conference in Belfast that was based on contemporary conservation, thinking and practice and which drew together a diverse range of speakers, experts, conservators and Museum professionals from all over the world with a focus on innovation and fresh insights, providing an environment for learning and discussions on conservation methodologies practised world-over.

Symposium and Conference 'Celebrating Museum Cultures'

Dr. Shikha Jain, Project Coordinator, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF), presented 5-minute presentations on The City Palace Museum, Udaipur at the Symposium and Conference 'Celebrating Museum Cultures' organised by Dr. Alka Pande Art Consultant and Curator Visual Arts Gallery in association with Bihar Museums on 27th June 2019. Welcome remark was presented by the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of Bihar, Shri Ravi Parmar.

The 479th birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap was celebrated at The City Palace Museum, Udaipur under the aegis of Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation on
