Charitable Dispensary and Medical Aid

MMCF runs a charitable dispensary, which operates all year round. It aims to provide free medical advice and medicines to the needy who are unable to pay for medical treatment. Treatments can range from assistance to the aged to monetary reimbursement to social workers who distribute medicines to needy and disabled people.

More than 10,000 patients benefit each year from the dispensary which is manned by a team of medical professionals. The staff's yearly medical check-up is also organised by the Foundation.

A total number of 885 patients were treated in the month of November 2019

Supporting Project Saksham of Yuva Pahal (Pali, Rajasthan)

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistance to support the project titled Project Saksham for the skill training program for girls at Rohat, Pali (Rajasthan) for the year 2019-20. Yuva Pahal is an emerging NGO of Rajasthan engaged in the social development and women empowerment through integrated family welfare and livelihood projects. Yuva Pahal helps building livelihoods through microenterprises for girls and women, improving household income and creating jobs where these are actually required. The objective is to empower every girl and woman through skill and education.


Beneficiaries at Saksham Project

Supporting the 'Widow Care Project' at Udaipur, Rajasthan

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation is providing financial assistance to support the 'Widow Care Project' at Udaipur, Rajasthan for the year 2018-19. This project is running since 2012 under the aegis of Swami Vivekanand Sewa Nyas, Udaipur. The trust is inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekanand: 'Daridra Devo Bhava' (To serve the poor is to serve God).

SVSN organizes a free medical camp in Udaipur which includes eye, sugar and blood pressure check-ups, surgeries and free distribution of full course of medicines for the month for these widows. SVSN organized a free medical health check-up camp at Theosophical Society, Udaipur on 24th November, 2019.

Dr. Arun Bordia ji, Dr. IL Jain, Dr. Naina Jain and Dr. JP Simlot examined the patients. Mrs. Manjula Bordia, Mrs. Rekha Shrimali, Mrs. Krishna Bhandari provided counseling. Mr. Surajmal Porwal did blood sugar and checked BP. Mr. B.P.Paliwal, Babulal, Dinesh, Ravinder Surana wrote free medicines on their slip. Mr. BS Bhandari gave vaselines and biscuits to all the windows present in the camp. Pawan Paliwal distributed monthly pension to widows. A total of 135 widows attended the camp.
