Celebrating the anniversary of Maharanas of Mewar

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has been actively celebrating the anniversaries of the Maharanas and their historical achievements, with efforts to continue their legacy. In this effort, the foundation celebrated the anniversaries of Maharana Jai Singh, on 08th January 2021, Maharana Swarup Singh, on 10th January 2021, Maharana Kumbha, on 13th January 2021, Maharana Fateh Singh, on 15th January 2021, Maharana Bheem Singh, on 03rd April 2021, Maharana Amar singh I, on 19th April 2021, Maharana Sangram Singh II, on 02nd May 2021, Maharana Sangram Singh I, on 05th May 2021, Maharana Udai Singh II, on 14th May 2021, and Maharana Pratap, on 13th June 2021.

100th Birth Anniversary of Maharana Bhagwat Singh

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation celebrated the 100th birth anniversary of its founder;

Maharana Bhagwat Singh Mewar of Udaipur (r. 1955 - 1984), according to the Vikram Samvat Calendar dated Ashad Krishna Paksh Ekum. He defined the roles and responsibilities of the Maharanas of Mewar in modern yet traditional and cultural form.

Establishment of Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation

On 20th October, 1969 Maharana Bhagwat Singh Mewar of Udaipur established the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) on the principles of trusteeship. As the 75th Custodian of the 1500 year old House of Mewar, he ensured that MMCF is rooted in the core values of community service, respect for the humanity with focus on self-reliance and self-respect.

MMCF was instituted, 51 years ago, with the vision 'to serve and assist each and every individual to realise a special status in the hierarchy of God's creation; and to serve as a temple of inspiration to future generations'.
