Philanthropy

Scholarships and Grants

'Charity' has been at the root act of custodianship in Mewar remains the guiding essence of the Foundation. It means contribution which is explained in great detail in our ancient scriptures and is unconditional. It is given to the deserving and those in need, from legitimately earned wealth, with no regrets and with no intention of achieving fame or expecting favours in return.

Charity influences and affects many people in different ways. Good actions like charity are counted as a noble act and an inspiration for others. It means for one to be generous, kind hearted & understanding and thus defines the present 76th Custodian of Mewar, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar for carrying forward this noble act and centuries old tradition.

Also scholarships are awarded to students at every level of education, from primary school to postgraduate research scholars. Both male and female applicants are treated fairly and without discrimination or favour but on the basis of the cause. The numbers can range from a single scholarship granted to a number of students to help subsidies school/ college fees.

Following the tradition the scholarship was granted to Mr. Prashant Lohar to pursue one year post graduate diploma in Museology and Conservation course, CSMVS, Mumbai.
