Scholarships and Grants

Today, one of the Foundation's biggest outgoing expenses is charity being done through its direct donations to causes, such as, support to scholarships, endowments, pension schemes and medical-aid, thus fulfilling directly many of the objectives. In keeping the objective of the organization to promote and encourage excellence and to help the needy without discrimination or favour but on the basis of the cause. Both men and women applicants are treated fairly and without bias. The trust has also sponsored and subsidized the presentation of research papers at symposia both in India, and across the globe.

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided scholarship to Mr. Tashaang Nimawat, Udaipur, to continue his studies of class XII - Maharana Mewar Public School for 2021-2022, provided scholarship to Mr. Krishna Vardhan Singh of class XII - Lakshmipat Singhania School to promote excellence in various walks of life.

Further scholarship was provided to Mrs. Pamajit Kaur Kingrani to support her son Mr. Jasbir Kingrani studying in 8th std. in MMPS

Medical Assistance

The MMCF has provided medical assistance to Mr. Surya Dev Singh to attend his medical treatment. Further medical aid was provided to Mr. R.K. Shetty, Udaipur

Financial Assistance

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistance in favour of Bhattiyani Chohatta Deepotsav Samiti to celebrate the Deepawali festival. Maharana Pratap Annual Security Dialogue programme booklet Adhering to the customs and responsibilities towards the needy Shriji provided financial aid to Mrs. Jamuna Kaur w/o late Sardar Ram Singh to meet her daily expenses and, medical needs.

Donation was given in favour of Amardip Sarvajanik Trust, Himmatnagar, Gujarat for supporting specially abled children.

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation supported Usanas Foundation Udaipur with financial assistance for organizing 4 days International conference on Maharana Pratap Annual Security Dialogue transnational terrorism in the 21st century and global counter terrorism response during January 10-13, 2022 at Udaipur.

Charitable Dispensary and Medical Aid

Medical Aid is an important activity of the MMCF. Citizens of the region can apply to it for medical benefits and assistance. The Staff's yearly medical checkups are also organized by the Foundation. MMCF runs a charitable dispensary, which operates all year round. It aims to provide free medical advice and medicines to the needy that are unable to pay for medical treatment.

A total number of 2015 patients were treated between the months of November 2021 to February 2022.

Academic Initiatives

Engaging Children with Museum Objects Workshop

CSMVS, Mumbai, in collaboration with ReReeti, Bangalore organized the interactive and practical workshop on 'Engaging Children with Museum Objects', on 19th November 2021. Assistant Curator, Ms. Chelsea Santos, participated in this workshop along with several other Museum professionals and art educators, to learn about and share ways to engage young audiences using collections.

Internship

Mr. Sourabh Sharma is pursuing his internship with the curatorial department at The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. The four month long internship, beginning from 1st February 2022, is a part of his VIII semester at MIT Art, Design & Technology University, Pune. Mr. Sharma is a BFA (Painting) student at his University

Visit of Dr. Anita Shah and Mr. Bharat Shah

Research scholar, Dr. Anita Shah and her husband, Mr. Bharat Shah, visited The City Palace Museum, Udaipur on 26th November 2021. Her interest being particularly in paintings, she visited the exhibition 'Portraits, Kings, Landscape: The Practice of Painting at Udaipur,' with Assistant Curator, Ms. Chelsea Santos.
