The 482nd birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap was celebrated at The City Palace, Udaipur on the 2nd and 3rd June 2022 by Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation. Artistes of Martand Foundation, Udaipur, narrated the story of Legendary Maharana Pratap titled "KAHANI KEEKA KI" Senior Theatre Director Mr. Vilas Janve and his associate Mr. Manish Sharma as storytellers, enacted signifi-cant parts of the story, which was focused on how Maharana Pratap regarded and loved the Bheel soldiers of Mewar. Their binding, love, and sacrifice for the freedom of Motherland was illustrated very effectively by the artists. The event was attended by Children from Home Under Child Welfare Committee, Udaipur District, Government of Rajasthan. At the end of every session, all the listeners applied the sacred soil of Haldi Ghati on their foreheads to pay Tribute to Maharana Pratap. Later on the children enjoyed sketching and drawing at Laxmi Chowk, The Zenana Mahal. On the 3rd June the children had an interaction with Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF at the Manek Chowk, The City Palace, Udaipur. The Rai Angan area of the Museum premises was decorated with flowers and visitors paid homage to Maharana Pratap on his garlanded frame. The City Palace was decorated with lights on 01st and 02nd June.
