World Tourism Day - 'Karigar Mela'

On World Tourism Day, MMCF organised 'Karigar Mela 2022- Artisan Fair' on from 24th September to 28th September 2022 at the Zenana Mahal, The City Palace, Udaipur. Various traditional decorative, artistic materials made by the handicrafts of Mewar were displayed for the tourists; it is a step towards the promotion of this handicraft on behalf of the foundation. Participating artists included Mr. Rajesh Mogiya, Sculpture Carved Soft stone carving results from the designing, chiselling and buffing of a stone piece. Mr. Manna Lal Kumhar, Teracotta (Clay Art): Renowned for its Teractta Art, Molela is a village at the bank of Banas River in Rajsamand District. Mr. Rajesh Anant Maheshwari, Glass Inlay Work: Glass Inlay work is commonly known as Thikari Work in Udaipur.
