Guide Meeting

On the 14th October 2022 the Guide meeting was held at The Zenana Mahal, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. The guides were addressed by Mr. Balveer Singh Naruka, Capt. Rishabh Suri, Dr. Mayank Gupta and Mr. Rajnish Porwal. They were briefed on the new development of Night Tour by the museum and were asked to promote. The interaction was to discuss on the awareness on social security for the coming festivals and to know-how about the facilities at the museum for the visitors and to raise in the rates of the guide facility of the museum.

Exhibition opening - A Tale of Two Palaces: Chambord / Udaipur

Exhibition poster A Tale of Two Palaces, a joint exhibition by Domaine National de Chambord and The City Palace Museum, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur was opened to the public on 16th October 2022, and will run till the 5th of March 2023 at the Chateau. The exhibition features some iconi,
never-seen-before photographs from City Palace Museum's archives. The exhibition revolves around the 16th century architectural marvels, Chateau de Chambord in France, and City Palace, Udaipur in Rajasthan, India, and touches on the shared links and marked differences between the two.

It is one of the fruits of the partnership agreement signed in 2015 between Chambord and The City Palace Museum,

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur. Art Conservator, Ms. Anuja Mukherjee, represented MMCF for the inauguration. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue.
