On the 2nd August 2008 Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur hosted cocktails for film producer and business magnate Mr. Arnon Milchan and his wife at Shambhu Niwas Palace.

On the 3rd August, Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur visited The Eklingarh Greens at the invitation of Brigadier S. Uppal, VSM (Vishist Seva Medal). The evening's programme started with a welcome address by Brigadier Uppal followed by a formal ceremony at which Shriji cut the cake before presenting prizes. Cocktails were followed by dinner.

The wedding of Shireen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Inderpal Singh Sachar and Dipinder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Surjit Singh Rekhi took place at Gangaur Hall, Hotel Paras Mahal, Udaipur on 6th August 2008. Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the wedding reception at Hotel Paras Mahal, Udaipur on 5th August 2008. The reception was followed by dinner.

Ms. Megan Wynes, Production Editor, Destinations of the World news interviewed Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur on 6th August 2008 for a feature on the Monsoon Rain in Udaipur. Shriji hosted cocktails for Ms. Wynes and Ms. Claire Taylor at Shambhu Niwas Palace.

Mr. Marco Masciaga, Correspondent, Italian Business Newspaper interviewed Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur on 9th August 2008. Accompanied by Ms. Laura Zanero he also attended cocktails hosted by Shriji at Shambhu Niwas Palace.

Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur hosted tea for his good friends Mr. and Mrs. Pankaj Khimji, Director, Khimji Ramdas, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman at Shambhu Niwas Palace on 12th August 2008 during their visit to Udaipur.

Airtel launched the third generation Iphone in Udaipur on the 22nd August 2008. The launch ceremony was performed by Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur at the Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace. In his address Shriji commented on the innovative development in technology that is so rapidly facilitating the way we communicate.
Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar was also present on the occasion.
