Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the screening of 'Jewels and Marble
Palaces' on the 23rd August, 2008 in Jodhpur. The event was organized by Mr. Raymond
Bickson, MD and CEO, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces The screening was followed by
the launch of a book on what is reputed to be the most illustrious art deco palace
ever built, 'Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan – The Maharaja of Palaces'. The book was
launched by His Excellency Mr. S. K. Singh, Governor of Rajasthan, in the presence
of His Highness The Maharaja Sahib Gaj Singh ji of Jodhpur. Princess Bhargavi Kumari
Mewar of Udaipur was also present on the occasion.

Music Launch of 'Badra', Ms. Rupali Dalal's debut album produced by Times Music
was organised at the MayFair Rooms, in Mumbai on 28th August 2008.
The launch was done by Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur and legendary actor
Shri Jitendra and was followed by cocktails and dinner. Ms. Rupali Dalal is of the
few prominent women exponents of Kirana Gharana, She has also attracted acclaim
for her ventures into several other genres of music.
