Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur Visits Mayo College, Ajmer
As a former student and authority on Aero Modeling, Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur accepted an invitation from Mr. Pramod Sharma, Principle, Mayo College, Ajmer to help in the initiation of a new Aero Modelling Club on the 11th August 2008. Using remote control models, staff and students watched a skillful demonstration of aerobatics performed by the Maharaj Kumar. In the evening Mr. Sharma hosted a dinner in his honour
On 12th August 2008 Maharaj Kumar was invited to attend the Special Assembly. He also gave a special lecture where he talked animatedly about his hobby. He described the wide range of models that are now available and the different techniques of performing aerobatics. Mr. Alok Sharma, Incharge, Aero modeling, Mayo College, assisted Maharaj Kumar during his visit.

Inter School Science Quiz held at the Maharana Mewar Public School
An Inter School Science Quiz was organised at the campus of the Maharana Mewar Public School under the aegis of the Maharana Mewar Public School on the 13th August 2008.
With seven groups, the quiz ran at competitive speed for more than six and a half hours before The Maharana Mewar Public School was proclaimed the winner, The Study school won second place with The St Gregorious school following closely as runner up.
Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur attended the quiz as the Chief Guest and warmly congratulated the winning teams. Special guest for the occasion was Dr. Ravi Bhatia from the Geetanjali Institute.
