173rd Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Maharana Fateh Singh was celebrated by Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur on 25th December 2022. This is according to the Vikram Samvat Calendar - dated Paush Shukla Dwitiya Vikram Samvat 1906 (Gregorian calendar 1849 CE).

Instrumental performance at Baadi Mahal

MMCF has always been a patronage in supporting the artists and musicians of Mewar in preserving the rich and cultural heritage of the region. Time and again the trust has come up with activities to promote these artists. The trust initiated weekly performance of artist at the Baadi Mahal, The City Palace, Udaipur. These performances are witnessed by tourist visiting the palace.

On the 19th November 2022 Mr. Anand Dabley presented flute performance, he was accompanied by Mr. Vardan

Pandya on Tabla. He learned flute under the inspiring guidance of his Guruji, Pt. Suresh Prajapat. He had been playing flute from around 20 years. He has got his degree in flute from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Prayagraj and that of Sugam Sangeet from All India Radio/ Akashvani ,Udaipur. Apart from playing Flute he is also proficient in playing Tabla, Dholak and Harmonium.

On the 26th November 2022 Miss. Kanishka Verma presented a Violin performance, She was accompanied by her father Mr. Lalit Verma on Tabla. A 10th Grade student, she is taking her initial training from Pt. Bhagwati Prasad Verma. She started learning Indian classical and lite classical music from an early age of 10. She is also the student of Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai.
