The City Palace Museum, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur, was the exhibition's largest lender, with 25 paintings and 5 photographs from its collection that were selected and conserved. The talk introduced the participants to the in-house, state-of-the-art conservation laboratory, made them aware of the various deterioration and damages encountered in the selected works followed by the conservation treatment plans undertaken, with reference of a few interesting case studies. came to know of all the behind-the-scene actions, challenges and learning while preparing the exhibits for transit outside the Museum, through a series of steps such as mo u n ti n g , fr ami n g , evaluation and packaging. Kartik Poornima Celebration 2022

MMCF marked the occasion of Kartik Poornima with a 3 day musical night at Baadi Mahal, The City Palace. A full moon night dedicated to Lord Brahma. Kartik Poornima celebration therefore is a great forum for conservation of many different tangible and intangible forms of heritage, and serves as an important and visible example to fulfill the aim of the Foundation. This is also an initiative to promote night tourism in Udaipur and giving opportunities to the artist from Udaipur, promoting the culture of Mewar.

On the 6th December Mr. Dharesh Pandya presented a Flute performance accompanied by Mr. Uttam Pandya on Tabla; On the 07th December Mr. Nandlal Gandharv preformed on Jal Tarang accompanied by Mr. Kapil Gandharv on Tabla and on the day of Kartik Poornima, 08th December Mr. Sourabh Dehlvi presented a Sitar performance accompanied by Mr. Ritik Kumawat. Mr. Vijay Kasara drew beautiful rangoli on each day of the musical night. Oil lamps were light and floral decoration were done.
