On June 10, 2023, santoor player Mr. Dheeraj Vaishnav presented a performance at the City Palace Museum in Udaipur. Mr. Vaishnav, who hails from Udaipur, Rajasthan, began learning the santoor at the age of 12 under the tutelage of his guru, Pt. Ram Krishna Bose. He is an ardent admirer of santoor maestro Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma. He has been playing the santoor for the past 8 years. He has received his Sangeet Visharad in Santoor and Tabla from Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad, Kolkata. He is a regular performer on All India Radio and Television. He has performed in concerts all over India, as well as in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

On June 17, 2023, flute player Mr. Anil Bhardwaj presented a performance at the City Palace Museum in Udaipur. Mr. Bhardwaj, who hails from Udaipur, Rajasthan, began learning the flute at the age of 10 under the tutelage of Shri Narayan Swami Ji. He then went on to study with the wellrenowned Late Pt. C. M. Makhan ji and Shri Sada Shiv Gautam ji. He is also a Gandabandh disciple of the worldrenowned flutist Pt. Rajendra Prasanna Ji (New Delhi).

Mr. Bhardwaj has been playing the flute for over 30 years. He is a regular performer on All India Radio and Television. He has performed in concerts all over India, as well as in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

MMCF Celebrates World Music Day with Instrumental Music Program

On the occasion of World Music Day on June 21, 2023, the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) organized an instrumental music program for its visitors at Baadi Mahal, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. The program featured a performance by flute artist Mr. Dharesh Pandya, who was accompanied by Mr. Uttam Pandya on the tabla. The program began with a performance of traditional Rajasthani folk songs. The Pandya brothers then played a variety of classical Indian ragas, including Raga Puriya Dhanashri, Raga Desh, and Raga Malkauns. The audience was captivated by the brothers' virtuosity and their ability to bring out the beauty of the raga. It also raised awareness of the MMCF's work in preserving and promoting traditional art and culture.
