World Photography Day 2023 In commemoration of World Photography Day, celebrated annually on 19 August, the City Palace Museum showcased a rare selection of photographs and paintings from its archives that featured men and women with their cameras, pursuing the art of photography, or simply posing with their gadgets. Through this digital exhibition on Instagram, titled "Capturing the Camera: Pictorial Depictions of the Gadget," the museum, under the aegis of the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, sought to acknowledge the role of these photographers in contributing to the rich collection of photographs and photographic equipment. | ScooNews Global Educators Fest - 2023 The ScooNews Global Educators Fest 2023 commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by the unveiling of the ScooNews 7th Anniversary Edition by Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee of the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation; Ms. Rama Datt, Trustee, Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Trust, City Palace, Jaipur; Ms. Devyani Jaipuria, Pro-Vice Chairperson, DPS Gurugram | DPS International, Gurugram | DPS Jaipur & Chairperson, Dharav High School and Mr. Ravi Santlani, Founder & CEO, ScooNews on the 11th August 2023. Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, the keynote speaker for the event, addressed the Fest and felicitated the Skilled Trophy Craftsmen and Teacher Warrior Awards winners. In his keynote address, Mr. Mewar spoke about the importance of education in shaping the future of India and the world. He emphasized the need for a holistic approach to education that focuses on developing the whole child, including their cognitive, social, and emotional skills. He also called for greater collaboration between the government, private sector, and civil society to create a world-class education system for all. The ScooNews Global Educators Fest is a unique platform that brings together school leaders, policymakers, heads of state, founders, CEOs of edtech companies, and fast-growing startups to discuss the future of education. The event witnessed the participation of over 700 educators from across India and the world. The Fest featured a variety of sessions on topics such as the future of work, the role of technology in education, and the importance of social-emotional learning. Participants had the opportunity to learn from experts in the field of education, share their own experiences, and network with other educators from around the world.
