Engaging Lecture by Prof. Dipti Khera

Interactive Seminar on "Rajasthan Unification" on Rajasthan Day

On the 30th March 2024, Rajasthan Day, MMCF and INTACH jointly organized a lecture focusing on the theme of Rajasthan Unification at the MMCF Conference Hall, City Palace, Udaipur. The event commenced with an introductory speech by Dr. Lalit Pandey, Convener of INTACH Udaipur Chapter. Dr. Manish Shrimali, Assistant Professor at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, delivered an insightful lecture on Rajasthan Unification, delving into the historical events during the independence struggle and the subsequent integration of princely states into Rajasthan.

Following this, Ms. Swati Jain, Research Officer at the Maharana Mewar Research Institute, MMCF, presented a PowerPoint titled "Background of Unification: Insights from Archival Documents," offering an exploration of historical perspectives with a special focus on Mewar.

Understanding the unification of Rajasthan is crucial, and the archival records focusing on the historical context of Mewar, including princely rulers' alliances, conflicts, and interactions with neighboring states, shaped the dynamics of unification. To conclude the event, Mr. Bhupendra Singh Auwa, Administrator in Chief at MMCF, delivered the vote of thanks.
