Celebrating Hindu New Year - Vikram Samvat 2081

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF participated in the Hindu New Year Celebration - Vikram Samvat 2081 at Gandhi Ground, Udaipur, upon the invitation of Bharitya Navavarsh Samaajotsav Samiti, Udaipur on 09th April, 2024.

During the event, he sought blessings from Mahamandaleshwar Eshwaranand Maharaj and exchanged greetings with other revered saints in accordance with tradition.

In his address to the attendees, Mr. Mewar highlighted the significance of the event as a commendable endeavor to uphold the Sanatan Dharma culture in Mewar. He emphasized the valor and sacrifices made by the brave women of Mewar to safeguard the Sanatan Dharma, culture, and dignity.

Mr. Mewar also lauded the courage of Mewari warriors who valiantly defended against invaders, noting that historical accounts attest to the valor and resilience of Mewari warriors in upholding honor and valor.

Furthermore, a grand procession was organized by Bharitya Navavarsh Samaajotsav Samiti in Udaipur to commemorate the Hindu New Year - Vikram Samvat 2081. The procession showcased folk dancers, cultural tableaus, and local residents adorned in vibrant traditional attire, adding a colorful and festive touch to the celebration.

Subsequently, Mr. Mewar participated in the festivities at Gogunda, where he addressed the gathered crowd, extending his warm wishes for a prosperous Hindu New Year to all in attendance.
