Commemorating Hindu New Year in Ongana

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF journeyed to Ongana at the invitation of Bharatiya Navavarsh Samaajotsav Samiti for the Hindu New Year Celebration on 10th April, 2024. During the event, he received blessings from Gulabdas Maharaj and actively participated in the congregation. In his address, Mr. Mewar expressed, "Lord Shri Ram Lalla now resides in the newly erected magnificent temple, granting the desires of Sanatan followers after a 500-year anticipation." Highlighting the historical significance of Ongana in Mewar's legacy, Mr. Mewar acknowledged the valorous martyr Maharana Pratap and the unwavering spirit of the people of Ongana who stood united against the Mughal invaders. This acknowledgment underscores the rich history and courageous heritage of Ongana within the tapestry of Mewar's past.

Celebrating Ram Navmi

On the sacred occasion of Ram Navmi on 17th April, 2024, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar visited the Shri Ram temple situated at Hanuman Ghat of Pichola Lake, Udaipur, to offer special prayers. In accordance with the ancient customs of Mewar, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar performed a traditional worship by presenting flowers, akshat, and naivedya offerings to Lord Shri Ram in the Ram Darbar. Accompanied by the recitation of Vedic mantras by Vedapathi Brahmins, Mr. Mewar conducted a grand aarti of Lord Shri Ram and prayed for the well-being and prosperity of Mewar.

Vishwakarma Suthar Samaj Releases Calendar Marking Hindu New Year

On the auspicious occasion of the Hindu New Year, the Vishwakarma Mewada Sutradhar (Suthar) Samaj celebrated by releasing their calendar, titled "Jai Sutradhar." The calendar was formally unveiled by Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF on 17th April, 2024. The event was attended by several notable figures, including Mr. Titu Suthar, the spokesperson of the society, and Mr. Ramakant Ajariya, the President of Vishwakarma Mevda Suthar Social Development Institute. Mr. Mewar was honored with a bouquet by the dignitaries in recognition of his presence. The calendar showcases the rich history of the society, along with a comprehensive list of 22 temples located within the Udaipur Banswara division. Other prominent attendees at the event included Mr. Suresh Suthar, the City President, Mr. Jagdish Suthar, Mr. Chaman Shekhar Suthar, and Mr. Bherulal Suthar, a social worker. The gathering was a testament to the community's commitment to preserving their cultural heritage and traditions.
