Preservation and Maintenance of Glass Inlay Work at The City Palace Museum, Udaipur

The City Palace Museum in Udaipur has commissioned Mr. Rajendra Singh, a renowned Glass Inlay artist, and his team to undertake the preservation, maintenance, and restoration of the intricate glass inlay work at the Manek Mahal and Moti Mahal.

Glass Inlay is a delicate art form that involves embedding small, colored glass pieces into a surface to create stunning patterns and designs.

Instrumental Performance at Baadi Mahal

The Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation is dedicated to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Mewar. To support this mission, the foundation provides a platform for resident artists to showcase their talents weekly at the Baadi Mahal within The City Palace Museum. These performances feature a variety of traditional Indian instruments, including the santoor, flute, jal tarang, and sitar, and are open to visiting tourists.

Performances took place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baadi Mahal, City Palace Museum, Udaipur. These instrumental performances provide a wonderful opportunity for visitors to experience the vibrant cultural heritage of Mewar.
