Visit of Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu

Hon'ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, visited the City Palace Museum in Udaipur, where she was warmly welcomed by Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee of the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) on 03rd October 2024. Her Excellency was accompanied by the Governor of Rajasthan, Mr. Haribhau Kisanrao Bagade, and Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa.

During her visit, Mr. Mewar guided the Hon'ble President through the museum's various galleries, explaining their historical significance. He highlighted the glorious history of Mewar, emphasizing the sacrifice, valor, and self-respect embodied by the brave Maharanas, including Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap and Maharana Sanga, while also addressing contemporary issues relevant to the region.

The visit underscored the cultural richness of Udaipur and the enduring legacy of its royal heritage.
