Moti Mahal and Bheem Vilas

Moti Mahal the space above the Mor Chowk was built by Maharana Karan Singh (r.1620 - 1628 CE) in the 17th century and renovated by Maharana Jawan Singh (r.1828 - 1838 CE) in 19th century. It is a small room in front of the Bheem Vilas and is located right above the main entrance of the Mardana Deodi. Moti Mahal and Bheem Vilas was a private residence of Maharana Bheem Singh (r.1778 - 1828 CE) and Maharana Jawan Singh. The Moti Mahal is a room full of mirrors and coloured glass decorated during the period of Maharana Jawan Singh. It is said that from here the royal ladies could observe any state functions or ceremonies being held down below in the Manek chowk, without themselves being seen. Bheem Vilas was renovated by Maharana Bheem Singh in the 19th century for his own use. In the yellow room of Bheem Vilas there are two ivory doors and one wooden door on display in their glass cases, which has been restored recently. Bheem Vilas, relatively less ornate but in royal blue, was the private chamber of Maharana Bheem Singh and later the favorite of Maharana Swarup Singh (r.1842 - 1861 CE).

In 19th century building crafts of Mewar such as interiors with painting, mirror work and intricately carved ivory doors are found and were redone in Moti Mahal. Even the stone columns were carved in glass inlay work. The cusped arches are almost semicircular, as found in the 19th century, Mewar British phase. The paintings in Bheem Vilas are in bright colors of the Nathdwara Pichwai style and depict the various moods of Lord Krishna. As The Palace space of the Mewar rulers; the exquisite building artwork, it is of high historic and architectural significance.

Scholarships and Grants

Today, one of the Foundation's biggest outgoing expenses is charity being done through its direct donations to causes, such as, support to scholarships, endowments, pension schemes and medical-aid, thus fulfilling directly many of the objectives. In keeping the objective of the organization to promote and encourage excellence and to help the needy without discrimination or favour but on the basis of the cause. Both men and women applicants are treated fairly and without bias.

In September 2024, the trust provided support to Miss Paridhi Jain, a student in Class VII, daughter of Ms. Shila Jain, and Master Lakshit Solanki, son of Ms. Neeta Solanki, to assist with their educational needs. In October 2024, the trust also supported Miss Khushi Ahlawat from Class XI, daughter of Ms. Saroj Ahlawat, in her studies.

Charitable Dispensary and Medical Aid

Medical Aid is an important activity of the MMCF. MMCF runs a charitable dispensary, which operates all year round. The Staff's yearly medical checkups are also organized by the Foundation. Citizens of the region can apply to it for medical benefits and assistance. It aims to provide free medical advice and medicines to the needy that are unable to pay for medical treatment. A total number of 367 patients were treated in the month of September 2024 and 442 patients were treated in the month of October 2024.

Financial Assistance

Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation has provided financial assistance to Mr. Gaurang Singh Gaur, Udaipur for the purchase LOOK time trial road cycle and euipments for Cycling Championships.
