MMPS Golden Jubilee Debates & Critical Thinking Conclave

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF, attended the closing ceremony of the national edition of the MMPS Golden Jubilee Debates & Critical Thinking Conclave, which took place on October 4 and 5, 2024. The ceremony was held at Khush Mahal, The City Palace in Udaipur, on October 5, featuring a panel discussion moderated by Mr. Parnab Mukherjee. The central theme of the discussion was "Children's Skills for Tomorrow," where insightful contributions from Mr. Pramod Sharma and Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar highlighted the significance of fostering critical thinking, social awareness, and creativity among children. This conclave transcended mere competition; it was a celebration of intellectual curiosity and dialogue. The prestigious event attracted 16 teams from 10 esteemed schools across seven states in India, representing various educational boards including CBSE, IB, IG, and ICSE-ISC.

The intellectual journey commenced with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Mr. Sanjay Datta, CEO of MMPS & MMVM; Mr. Mayank Trivedi, Principal of MMPS; and Mr. Parnab Mukherjee, an event curator, educationist, and playwright. They were joined by judges Mr. Sahaj Bhatia and Mr. Devanshu Sengupta, whose discerning decisions guided the event effectively. The first day featured a diverse array of challenging competitions, including Turncoat Debate, Extempore Writing, Installation, and the eagerly anticipated Shakespeare Duologue titled "Bard's Banter." The day concluded at Shikarbadi Hotel with Shri Pramod Sharma, Chairman of the IPSC Trust and a veteran in the education sector, presenting awards to the outstanding participants of the day.

Visit to Temples on the Auspicious Occasion of Navratri

On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF), participated in several spiritual events. On October 6, 2024, he attended a Bhajan Sandhya dedicated to Pavagarh Mata Ji at Valmiki Colony, Shakti Nagar, Udaipur. The following day, he sought blessings at the Shree Neemuch Mata Ji Temple near Fateh Sagar Lake. On October 8, he attended another Bhajan Sandhya at the Kalka Mata Ji Temple in Payada, Udaipur.

Continuing his spiritual journey, on October 9, he visited Bhalundi Village in Badi Sadri seek blessings of Maa Nagnecheya and attended the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha by Mewar Peethadhishwar Pujya Gurudev Shri Shri 1008 Swami Sudarshanacharya Ji Maharaj at Gopal Ashram, Badi Sadri.
