On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi 7th September 2024, Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, MMCF visited the Pala Ganesh Ji Temple at Pichola Road and the Shri Sundari Vinayak Ganesh Ji Temple at Kala Ji Gora Ji in Udaipur. This festival, celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesh, symbolizes the arrival of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune. During his visit, Mr. Mewar sought blessings for the well-being of Udaipur and its surrounding regions. Ganesh Chaturthi is not only a time for devotion but also a moment for communities to come together in celebration and prayer, emphasizing unity and cultural heritage. The significance of this occasion is heightened by the traditional rituals associated with Ganesh Chaturthi, which include elaborate pujas performed during Madhyahna, believed to be the most auspicious time for worshiping Lord Ganesh. Jal Poojan at Lake Pichola

Mr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Trustee, Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF), participated in the Jal Poojan (worship of water) and Deepdaan (lamp donation) at Lake Pichola, Udaipur on 02nd October 2024. The event was organized by the Bajrangbali Prachar Samiti on Sarvapitre Amavasya, a day dedicated to praying for the salvation of ancestors (Pitru Dev). Committee manager Mr. Pandit Pawan Kumar Sukhwal explained that a collective Sundarkand recitation was conducted by the Kumawat Samaj Mahila Samiti Surajpol in the evening at Bhim Parmeshwar Ghat, located outside Chandpol. The event also featured cultural presentations by local school children, showcasing their talents.

Following these activities, a Ganga Aarti was performed from a boat in the middle of Lake Pichola. Esteemed guests including Mr. Chunnilal Garasiya, Rajya Sabha Member; Mr. Phool Singh Meena, Udaipur Rural Member of Legislative Assembly; and Dr. Pradeep Kumawat led the Aarti, contributing to the spiritual ambiance of the occasion.
