Shree Shree 1008 Yogi Shree Shambhu Nathji Maharaj from Sirohi, accompanied by delegates, called upon Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar at The City Palace, Udaipur on 14 February 2026. They extended a warm invitation for the patotsav (temple anniversary festival) of Hinglaj Mataji Temple in Gehalpur, Ajmer.

A Historic Temple for Lord Shree Eklingnath Ji to Rise in Mahakal City

A grand Bhoomi Pujan ceremony was held at Nalwa village on Badnagar Road on 26th February 2026, marking the beginning of the construction of a new temple dedicated to Lord Shri Eklingnath Ji, the revered deity of Mewar. The site lies at the third halt (Padav) of Ujjain's Panchkroshi pilgrimage route, adding spiritual significance to the location.

The event was graced by Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, who underscored the importance of this initiative. He described the construction of a temple dedicated to Lord Eklingnath Ji by the Shri Trivedi Mewada Brahmin Society in the City of Mahakal (Ujjain) as a historic step, and pledged his full cooperation and support for the project

The temple will be built using white marble stones, reflecting the traditional architectural grandeur of Mewar, and will house a black stone Shivling as its central sanctum. The architectural design has been entrusted to the renowned Sompura family of Ahmedabad, known for their expertise in traditional Hindu temple architecture across India.

In addition to the temple, the project will also include a Gurukul (traditional residential school) and a Gaushala (cow shelter), highlighting the community's commitment to both spiritual upliftment and social welfare. The total estimated cost of the entire project is seven crore rupees, reflecting a major collective effort by the Shri Trivedi Mewada Brahmin Society
