Maharana Pratap's 486th Birth Anniversary Commemorated at Moti Magri

The 486th birth anniversary of the legendary warrior Maharana Pratap was commemorated with deep reverence, pride and devotion at Moti Magri, Udaipur, by the Maharana Pratap Smarak Samiti on 17th June 2026.

The iconic equestrian statue of Maharana Pratap, standing as an enduring symbol of courage and sovereignty, was beautifully adorned with floral decorations as devotees gathered to pay homage to the great ruler of Mewar. On this significant occasion, special prayers and traditional rituals were performed on behalf of Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, President of the Maharana Pratap Smarak Samiti.

As a majestic tribute to Maharana Pratap's unparalleled legacy, 486 lamps were illuminated at the memorial, symbolising the eternal light of his ideals, while a sacred offering of 486 laddu marked the celebration of his birth anniversary.

Remembering the valour and vision of Maharana Pratap, Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar stated that his life continues to inspire generations as a timeless embodiment of sacrifice, self-respect, patriotism, resilience and unwavering commitment to principles.
