The marriage took place between Niyati, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Prafful Patel and Samarth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Parekh at Jagmandir, Udaipur on the 24th February 2008. Lunch was held at the Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace followed by the Mehendi ceremony at the Pool Deck, Shiv Niwas Palace on the 23rd February. The family Sangeet took place at the Manek Chowk, City Palace Complex. Actor and Rock Star Salman Khan was joined by Govinda, Katrina Kaif and Sonu Nigam who entertained guests performing with a live band.

On the 24th February an elegant procession of guests led by elephants, camels and bejeweled horses moved from Rameshwar Ghat Jetti to the Lake Palace Jetti where the bridegroom was transported in a royal Baggi before boarding a Heritage Launch for the palace island of Jagmandir. Musicians played dhol for the occasion from a Catamaran on Lake Pichola. Cocktails were served at the Courtyard followed by Varmala before the wedding ceremony that took place at the Kunwarpada Chowk and dinner at the Lawns.

Several Bollywood stars also joined in the celebrations including Lara Dutta, Pretty Jinta, Anil Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan. Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur also attended the ceremony with Maharani Sahiba Vijayaraj Kumari Mewar, Princess Bhargavi Kumari Mewar of Udaipur, Thakur Sahib Lokendra Singh of Kotri, Princess Padmaja Kumari Mewar of Udaipur and Maharaj Kumar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur.

The marriage took place between Manesha, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bhagwan Bakshani and Vinod, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sunder Khiani at Jagmandir, Udaipur on the 28th February 2008. The official engagement took place at the Pool Deck, Shiv Niwas Palace on the 25th February followed by dinner. Cocktails and dinner were held at the Baithak Restaurant and Jhula Lawns of Shikarbadi Hotel. The Mehendi ceremony, Sangeet and dinner were held at the Zenana Mahal, The City Palace Complex on the 26th February. Ghari followed by dinner was arranged at the Sunset Terrace, Fateh Prakash Palace on the 27th Febraury. Guests processed from the Sunset Terrace to the Promenade before embarking on boats for the Palace island of Jagmandir where the wedding ceremony took place at Kunwarpada Chowk. This was followed by cocktails and dinner at the Courtyard.
