In such an event, the festival may be celebrated on different (but successive) days by different people, depending on their local or family traditions.

The festival is celebrated distinctively in North India. The temples at Vrindavan and Mathura witness a colourful, even boisterous celebration on this occasion, and festivities at these places may extend for several days. Devotional songs and dances mark the celebration. The Raasleela is performed to recreate incidents from the life of Krishna and commemorate his love for Radha. The festival is celebrated with great joy and communal togetherness.

Leadership Initiative for Excellence Conference.
Sun Group India held a conference Leadership Initiative for Excellence (LIFE) on 5th, 6th and 7th August at Sabhagaar Conference Hall, The Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace Convention Centre, Fateh Prakash Palace, Udaipur. On the first day of the conference a Curtain Raiser was followed by tea. On the second day and third day, the Topaz, Amber and Onyx meeting rooms were used for breakaway meetings. Lunch and dinner were arranged at The Pool Deck, Shiv Niwas Palace and Satkar Banquet Hall, The Durbar Hall, Fateh Prakash Palace. 60 delegates attended the conference.
