Second Phase of restoration Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Jagdish Chowk begins
Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation completed restoration and renovation of the outer facade and two classrooms of the Government Girls' Senior Secondary School earlier known as Shambhu Ratna Pathshala, Jagdish Chowk, Udaipur on 28th January 2015 at a cost of INR 33 lacs.
The 2nd phase of restoration and renovation which includes a big hall, four classrooms and two laboratories on the first floor of the school building commenced on 2nd May 2015. This restoration and renovation of school building is being conducted under the project titled 'Education in Udaipur' initiated by Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur.

Guide Orientation Programmes
As part of the ongoing guide orientation programme by MMCF, on 2nd May 2015 Lecture on "Contribution of Guide in Mewar Heritage site seeing" was presented by Dr. Piyush Bhadviya. The lecture was attended by 33 guides and 9 staff members.
On 9th May Dr. Rajendra Nath Purohit presented his lecture on "Festivals of Mewar: Important Features". 33 guides and 10 staff members attended the lecture.
On 16th May, a lecture on "Role of Guide as a Cultural Ambassador" was presented by Mr. K. G. Sharma that was attended by 40 guides and 8 Staff Members.
On 21st May the guide orientation concluded with a talk on "Town Planning of Udaipur according to Vastushastra (Ancient Art of Architecture)" by Dr. Shrikrishna Jugnu that was attended by 38 guides and 8 Staff Members.
