On the occasion of Rajasthan Day, the City Palace Museum, Udaipur organized various cultural programs and an Exhibition at Zenana Mahal from March 23rd 2018 to April 7th 2018.

Maharana Mewar Foundation 36th Annual Award Distribution Ceremony - 2018 was held on Sunday the 11th March 2018 at The Manek Chowk, The City Palace, Udaipur. The distribution ceremony started with the presentation of certificates to students from schools and universities in Udaipur and across the State of Rajasthan. That was followed by the main Ceremony where the international and national awardees were presented the awards.
 
Holika Dahan Ceremony 2018

Holika Dahan Ceremony was celebrated at The Manek Chowk of the City Palace. Holika dahan is celebrated on the auspicious full moon night of Phalguna, heralding the onset of spring. The colourful procession with marching bands and display of Mewar's pageantry witnessed the participation of Family-Members of the House of Mewar.
 
 
Exhibition of Photographs titled 'Maharanis: Women of Royal India'
Tasveer Art, Bangalore and Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation jointly organized an exhibition of photographs titled 'Maharanis: Women of Royal India' at Fateh Niwas Gallery, Zenana Mahal, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur from March 6th 2018 to April 8th 2018.
