Lecture by Prof. Vasant S. Shinde

Sahitya Sansthan, JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, Udaipur organized an extensive lecture by Prof. Vasant S. Shinde, Chancellor, Deccan College, Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Pune on 17th May 2019. During the course of his lecture, Prof. Shinde shared his work on the Excavation at Rakhigarhi, the largest Harappan site located in Haryana, and other recent research work done on the Indus- Saraswati Civilization. Dr. Hansmukh Seth, Associate Curator, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur attended the lecture as a MMCF representative.

Lecture series on International Museum Day

On the occasion of International Museum day, 18th May 2019, the Anthropological Survey of India, western Regional Centre, Udaipur and Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Udaipur Chapter, organized lectures dedicated to tribal students. The theme of the lectures was 'Museum as Cultural Hubs: The Future of Traditions'. Dignitaries from various institutions attended the programme and shared their thoughts. Dr. Hansmukh Seth, Associate Curator, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur was invited as one of the speakers for the session. He represented MMCF. In his presentation, he correlated the work of The City Palace Museum, Udaipur with the theme.
