A brief presentation was given by the Museum Conservators, Ms. Anuja Mukherjee and Ms. Bhasha Shah. Their presentation highlighted the role of Museum guides in preserving our cultural heritage, which also includes the Palace Complex and the variant artefacts that are housed within. The guides were informed about the nature of the Museum's collection, the degradation that naturally occurs as a result of the environmental conditions and how human vandalism can accelerate this damage. Museum guides, being the major point of contact with the visitors, play a vital role in controlling the damage created by human carelessness; the preservation of Cultural Heritage being everybody's responsibility.
