Posters from The City Palace Museum, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur, equipped with the NFC Technology, along with those of other participating institutions of the world, were displayed at the Festival in Florence (24th - 28th November 2021), hosted at Palazzo Medici Riccardi - Galleria delle Carrozze and Sale Ex Circolo. The posters were to give visitors an insight into the cultural storytelling of the respective organizations. The City Palace's posters received the Best Poster prize on 26th November 2021. NFC technology enabled viewers to access more information about the posters, on the website.

The cultural storytelling of Award for Best Poster the curated exhibition of photographs of the region of Udaipur, titled 'The Venice of the East: The City of Udaipur' was virtually presented by Assistant Curator, Ms. Chelsea Santos, at the International Festival held in Florence, 'The World in Florence: Festival of World's Cultural Expressions- First Edition,' on 25th November 2021. The exhibition sought to highlight the visual delights, living traditions and regional specialties of the historical city of Udaipur, and streamline the role of The City Palace Museum, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur in promoting and safeguarding the living essence of the region. The team members included Ms. Chelsea Santos, Dr. Hansmukh Seth, Mr. Kezar Photowala, Mr. Prashant Lohar and Mr. Love Mathur.

'Mewar Weaponry: A Glimpse into the Arms collection of The City Palace Museum, Udaipur'

The City Palace Museum, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur, in joint collaboration with ICOM India and the Department of Museology, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, commemorated World HeritageWeek 2021, on 26th November 2021 with a presentation by Associate Curator, Dr Hansmukh Seth. Titled 'Mewar Weaponry: A Glimpse into the Arms collection of The City Palace Museum, Udaipur', Dr Seth's presentation traced the visual journey of the development of Arms in the region of Mewar from edged weapons to fire arms. The session was presided over by ICOM, India President, Prof. Ambika Patel
