Visit of Royal Asiatic Society team Royal Asiatic Society team visited The City Palace Museum, Udaipur on the 15th February 2023. Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur welcomed the Royal Asiatic Society team at City Palace, Udaipur and discussed the historical background of Colonel James Tod. Royal Asiatic Society's team of 12 members along with Dr. H.E. Driver visited the places in Rajputana where Tod sahib once lived, stayed and worked. During the reign of Maharana Bhim Singh, Colonel James Tod mentioned his historical travels in his book 'Annals and Antiquities of Rajasthan'. Following the same path of Colonel Tod, this team traveled to different places of Mewar to see its present condition. The team of Royal Asiatic Society also visited Rampyari Ji Haveli where Col. James Tod once resided. On behalf of the Foundation, Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Bhupendra Singh while greeting the team discussed several historical accounts related to Col James Tod. On behalf of the Foundation, Ms. Swati Jain and Mr. Mudit Charles showed through a power point presentation at the rural places of Mewar where Lt. Carry, who came with Col. Tod, was highlighted. Col. Tod built Carey's mausoleum in memory of Carey in the area around Toos because Carey had died in India while working with Tod.

The month of February saw workshops based on clay sculpting, block printing and mirror work. Makerspace Challenge, conducted on 1st -4th February 2023 provided opportunity to conceive and create 3D sculptures while referencing cue cards bearing visuals representing historical lore, magnificent palaces and traditional lifestyle of the land of Mewar.
Woodcut Wonders used the traditional printmaking technique of woodcut to convert paintings and mosaic arts into prints. Participants learnt how woodcut blocks, copies or replicas and layering of colours are done on paper. This workshop was conducted from 8th - 11th February 2023.
