Ms. Sejal Tandon, , a Master's student from the University of Amsterdam, completed a month-long internship in August 2025 at the conservation laboratory of The City Palace Museum, Udaipur. During her internship, she focused on imaging and detailed graphic documentation of 18thcentury wall paintings at Chitram ki Burj, Mardana Mahal (Men's Palace), and prepared a comprehensive report on their current condition. Her findings will enrich the museum's database and contribute significantly to future conservation efforts. In addition to this, Ms. Tandon assisted with the ongoing documentation and conservation of 18thcentury glass plate negatives from the museum's collection.

The internship's core objective was to provide hands-on experience in heritage conservation, allowing her to apply theoretical knowledge in practical settings. Under the expert guidance of the MMCF conservation team, she contributed to both preventive and curative conservation projects.

On July 07, 2025, Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar released the book "Udaipur Diary - The City of Royals" at The City Palace, Udaipur. Authored by Mr. Vijay Saruparia, the book beautifully captures the glorious past and vibrant present of Udaipur.

Through this work, the author presents Udaipur's ancient heritage, historical sites, the charming streets of the Old City, local dialect, traditional cuisine, educational landscape, and unique cultural practices. The narration intertwines history with the everyday life of the city, offering readers an immersive journey into Udaipur's spirit.

An event filled with literary empathy and creativity was held at the City Palace, Udaipur on July 07, 2025, with the launch of the Hindi poetry collection "Nami" by poet Mr. Ramesh Bhatnagar 'Rajan'. The book, published with the support of the Rajasthan Sahitya Academy and brought out by Ankur Publication, Udaipur, was formally released by Shriji Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, who described it as an inspiring contribution to contemporary literature.
