The group received a detailed briefing at The City Palace Museum, where they were introduced to the historical significance of the palace and its collections. They also visited the iconic Jagmandir Island Palace and other notable locations across Udaipur, capturing photographs and videos for promotional purposes. The visitors were accompanied and guided by Joint Director Tourism, Ms. Sumita Saroj, and Assistant Director Tourism, Ms. Divyani Vardia, who ensured a smooth and insightful experience throughout.

Panch Abhivyakti: Five Artistic Expressions

The City Palace Museum, Udaipur, hosted a unique live art and cultural showcase titled "Panch Abhivyakti: Five Artistic Expressions" from 12th to 17th August 2025. The event brought together traditional and contemporary art forms, offering students, visitors, and art lovers a rare opportunity to experience creativity in action.

The highlight of the event was "Panch Abhivyakti: Five Mediums, One Inspiration," where five artists

simultaneously painted the facade of The City Palace in their own distinctive mediums-Watercolor by Mr. Anurag Mehta, Mandana by Ms. Chandrika Parmar, Charcoal Sketch by Mr. Rohan Thakar, Miniature Painting by Mr. Nirbhay Raj Soni, and Oil/Acrylic by Mr. Rahul Mali. The live demonstrations allowed audiences to witness diverse techniques and interpretations of the same subject. Students interacted with the artists, gaining insights into traditional practices, tools, and artistic journeys.

Following the live painting, the artworks were displayed in an exhibition at Chhota Darikhana, along with other works by the same artists. To make the week more vibrant, Srajan was organized at Lakshmi Chowk, Zenana Mahal, featuring local artisans and craftspeople. From tie-and-dye textiles and pottery to leather diaries and sculptures, the stalls showcased the craft traditions of Udaipur, offering visitors the chance to engage with artisans, witness live demonstrations, and purchase handmade creations. Panch Abhivyakti truly embodied the museum's mission to bring together heritage, art, and education.
