Carrying forward its glorious tradition of honouring the service of permanent value rendered to society, Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) successfully concluded the Maharana Mewar Foundation 37th Annual Awards (MMFAA) at The City Palace, Udaipur.
 
 
Exhibition on Rajasthan Day

On the occasion of Rajasthan Day, celebrated annually on 30th March 2019, The City Palace Museum, Udaipur, set up a brief exhibition from 26th March to 7th April 2019, at Shilp Sabha. The panels displayed trace the history of the state of Rajasthan and how it transitioned from several independent, princely states, into one unified state.
 
Holika Dahan Ceremony 2019

Holi, the festival of colors is one of the most popular of Indian festivals and is celebrated when winter gives way to spring. This year it was celebrated on 20th March 2019. The Holika Dahan Ceremony held at The City Palace, Udaipur, witnesses a magnificent colourful palace procession with marching bands and display of Mewar's pageantry witnessed the participation of Family-Members of the House of Mewar.
 
 
VIP Visit

In the month of March the City Palace Museum, Udaipur was visited by some of the prominent personalities from around the world. This included diplomats, art enthusiast, educationist and Indian scientist. Prominent of them were delegates from Friends of the Freer | Sackler, Dr. K. Kasturirangan, Prof. John Stratton Hawley and US ambassador to India - His Excellency Mr. Kenneth I. Juster
